Ella's Spring Program

The 3 year old classes at Ella's preschool had their Spring Program today entitled "Down on the Farm. " The still pictures didn't turn out but we got some great video that I will have to try and get on here. She is the one in the picture who is playing with her belly button. (She has done this for years; it used to be accompanied by finger-sucking but fortunately she dropped that habit.) She didn't spot us until just before they began singing the first song "Jesus Loves Me". (You have to know that she currently loves putting random words into songs. She sings about everything.) So during the intro to the song she sees us and points at me and Hudson and says "Mommy and Daddy." "Jesus Loves Me" starts up and she starts belting "Mommy, Daddy, Mommy, Daddy" to the tune of "Jesus Loves Me". Hudson had to stop filming since we were both laughing so hard. During another song, the 4 different classes each had an assigned animal face mask and at the appropriate verse that class was supposed to raise their mask. Ella's class was the pigs and when they got to the pig verse, there was a row of pink pig faces and one albino pig in the middle. Our child had her mask facing her. So appropriate since she is not one to follow the crowd.
